On March 17th the Big 7 crew announced a change of venue and date for their rally this year. They can no longer host the rally in Kent due to sudden price increases proposed by the Hop Farm. These were imposed without any notice or leeway for negotiation, and would have been completely unaffordable.
So, at very short notice the rally organisers sourced a new site and have managed to secure a brilliant location in West Sussex. The change of venue has also meant the date has had to change too.
So we are pleased to announce that the 2023 Big 7 National Scooter Rally will now be held at The South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex, RH17 6TL, over the weekend of 14th – 16th July 2023.
Existing Tickets
If you have purchased advance tickets via Skiddle then they will automatically be transferred to the new venue and dates, you do not need to do anything. If you are unable to attend the rally on the new dates, then you will need to contact Skiddle for your refund 03333 010101.
Glamping Bookings
All Glamping Tent bookings will also automatically be transferred and, again, if you are unable to attend, you will need to contact Honeybells for your refund on 07817 672502.
Electric Hook-Ups
If you have booked an electrical hook-up pitch direct with the Hop Farm, you’ll need to contact the Hop Farm direct touring@thehopfarm.co.uk to enquire about a refund. You will be able to book a new electrical hook up ticket at the new venue via Skiddle on the Big 7 website shortly.
Big 7 at the South of England Showground
The South of England Showground will be to be a great new rally site as it allows the Big 7 team to continue with the type of 80’s style scooter rally that we’ve all become accustomed to from them.
